The 570-meter-long connection between Schiffbrücke and Brauereiweg was officially opened on Saturday, 06/07/25. At its end is an autonomous harbor ferry, which is not yet in operation (as of June 2025). The promenade is nicely designed, with plenty of seating.

The square at the end near Galwik is called Renate-Delfs-Platz, named after the honorary citizen of the city of Flensburg, who would have turned 100 this year and who was born very close by. The project ultimately cost 33 million euros.

The 570 m long Fördepromenade connects the old town and the harbor near Nordertor with the new town and Nordstadt. It offers numerous seating options and a viewing platform, as well as the future landing stage of the autonomous harbor ferry and the Renate-Delfs-Platz at the northern end.
The facility was opened on 07.06.2025. The Renate-Delfs-Platz is located on the former Galwik water square and in direct extension of the Galwik-Park, which opened in 2008, and the BMX and Skatepark Schlachthof.
