Hiking
The Volkspark is located on the outskirts of the historic city center and is a popular green space for residents and visitors alike. It blends harmoniously with the grounds of the Lessing Museum, with its sandstone sculptures and plantings. The park encompasses 1.6 hectares and was created from an extension of the former art and commercial nursery owned by Wilhelm Weiße (1846-1916).
