As the people of Chioggia say: "Chioggia is not a little Venice, but Venice is a great Chioggia". The similarity in the urban structure and the typical nature of the streets and canals is undeniable. Truly a lovely city that deserves a proper visit, I recommend wandering around the streets of the south-east area of the Vena canal full of colorful houses.
