The origin of today's monastery brewery in Kemnath is based on the founded in 1660 Franciscan monastery. In this long-standing tradition, they still brew sub-and top-fermented beer specialties in the monastery and produce lemonades, juices and juice spritzers. I especially recommend the amber. Especially as a cyclist awesome for hot temperatures.
