History and Architecture
The first stone of the church was laid on 1 September 1472 by Bishop Giovanni Buccelleni.
The consecration took place on 29 June 1514, officiated by the Bishop of Pola Cristoforo Mangiacino.
Initially a suffragan of the church of Santa Maria Assunta di Oneta, it was elevated to a parish on 3 May 1627.
