The statue of Gheraert Leeu in Gouda commemorates the influential 15th-century Gouda printer. Leeu was the first to print Dutch-language books for a wide audience and introduced important innovations such as the title page and in-text illustrations. His work laid the foundation for Gouda as a center of printing.

The statue stands in the Willem Vroesentuin in Gouda and depicts Leeu at a printing press, a symbol of his craftsmanship and the city's rich history as a book city.
