Leonid Teliga (born May 28, 1917 in Vyazma, died May 21, 1970 in Warsaw) – an infantry officer of the Polish Army of the Second Polish Republic and the Polish Air Force in Great Britain, yacht sailor, journalist, translator, writer, the first Pole to solo around the Earth on a wooden yacht s/y Opty in 1967–1969.
Resident of Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
In 2017, as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Leonid Teliga's birth, a monument commemorating this sailor was unveiled on the Golian ponds.
