Running
Highly recommended zoo with lots of animals, some of which you can even feed.

I didn't particularly like it. The enclosures are tiny. I haven't seen any major developments since my last visit about 15 years ago as far as the design of the enclosures is concerned, everything is still XS. Yes, they did all sorts of things for the children. And the monkeys got a bigger enclosure. The walk-in enclosures are nice too. But I personally prefer to have fewer animals, but in large, natural enclosures. In this regard, the Görlitz Zoo surprised me very pleasantly.

Hiking
A small, compact animal park that is especially suitable for families with children. Many enclosures are walkable and price-performance is definitely right.
