This monument commemorates the crews of four British bombers that crashed in Lozen (Bocholt).
The plane with the crew of the 166 Squadron crashed on 31 August 1943, the 630 Squadron on 22 July 1944, the 433 Squadron on 22 April 1944 and the 57 Squadron on 16 July 1941.
