Hiking
De Vest is a new nature reserve in the municipality of Waalwijk in North Brabant that was opened in 2009. The 12-hectare area is located between Waspik and Waspik-Zuid in the polder 'Klein Waspik'. It is located south of the former Langstraat railway line, now the 'Halve Zolenpad'. In addition to its natural and recreational value, the area also has a cultural-historical value because part of the Zuiderwaterlinie was located here.
