The Church of St. Charles Borromeo is located in Warsaw, at 14 Powązkowska Street, in the Wola district. It was built in the years 1790-1793 on the orders of King Stanisław August and Primate Michał Poniatowski, as a classicist church on the grounds of the newly established Powązki Cemetery. Over time, the church underwent numerous expansions and renovations, including reconstruction in the years 1891-1898, when a decision was made to build a new church, preserving only the façade of the original building.
