Carob trees cling to the rocks everywhere at the slightest light. Their roots sometimes lie on the rocks and suddenly disappear into small crevices. Survivalists

Hiking
At the entrance to the gorge you can find old, very impressive carob trees. Two specimens have particularly thick trunks and must be several hundred years old. The seeds of the long, tasty fruit are used as flour for many products (as a binding agent, as it can absorb extremely large amounts of liquid).
