Along the course of the Imagna stream in Clanezzo, there is the medieval bridge of Attone, built in stone with a single arch, an element of notable architectural and environmental value.
The support shoulders are anchored to the rocks of the banks, while the single arch bridge crosses the Imagna stream at the point of confluence with the Brembo.
In ancient times the only access route to the Brembana Valley passed through here, so the Attone bridge constituted a fundamental point for commercial connections with the other side of the Alps.

Anyone who takes a break in Ubiale, a small group of houses at the foot of the Brembana Valley, really has the impression of jumping back into the Middle Ages. The elegant bridge that Count Attone had built over a thousand years ago on the Imagna, where it flows into the Brembo, stands out. Attone, the last count of Lecco and Almenno, is credited not only with the design of the bridge, but also with the construction of the castle of Clanezzo.
