A spectacular spot not just for the scenery, bit as its next to the RAF base you have a good chance to spot some of the jets coming in and out.

A small, pretty lake on Anglesey, Llyn Cerrig Bach is a peaceful place to take a break. It's most famous for a discovery of over 150 Iron Age metal objects in 1942, one of the most important finds of Iron Age metalwork on the British Isles. It's thought they were left in the lake as offerings.

Embark on a difficult touring cycling adventure with the Southern Anglesey loop from Bangor, a challenging route spanning 58.3 miles (93.8 km). You will ascend a total of 2675 feet (815 metres) over approximately 5 hours and 47 minutes, making this a substantial ride. As you pedal, you will experience a diverse landscape, from the serene coastal stretches offering views of Snowdonia National Park across the Menai Strait to the quiet, winding country lanes of Anglesey. Keep an eye out for the historic Menai Suspension Bridge and the charming Stone bridge over the River Cefni, which are notable visual anchors along your journey.

This route is best suited for experienced cyclists, primarily following paved surfaces that are ideal for road bikes.
