Hiking

At some point in a project of the elementary school Wilgartswiesen and the Forestry Rhineland-Palatinate, this "school forest" was completely rebuilt by pupils of the elementary school. It is located between the "Old Station" and the rock wall (Alter Steinbruch) below the dyke wall in the nature reserve Tiergarten in the shadow of the ruin Falkenburg. A lot of information scales along the way.

Hiking

Unfortunately, a lot of the information boards are broken. Some of the plants shown no longer exist at the designated locations.

Hiking

The “school forest” is getting on in years, a lot has been destroyed or has become unsightly; not really a highlight anymore... the path but an alternative to the forest path.
