The Irfersgrüner church was originally a Marienkapelle, which probably already belonged to Reichenbach as a branch parish in 1140. In 1687 the life-size wooden crucifix was donated to the church. Also from the 17th century is the "Bornkinnel", which can be admired on Christmas Day. Today's interior dates from 1859. During an extensive roof renovation in 2006, the belfry and tower were rebuilt.
