Hiking
The Alte Allern are partly stagnant, partly slow-flowing waters with abundant vegetation on the banks and in the water. The ground is sandy-muddy with slightly cloudy water. The Alte Allern is used by hikers, nature lovers, and anglers. The main fish species today are eel, pike, perch, carp, tench, whitefish, and crayfish. In the period from May to October, paddling is permitted with restrictions on the Alte Aller, taking into account environmental compatibility. Only paddle boats (kayak, Canadian canoe, and canoe) are allowed. See: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alte_Aller

Hiking
The Alte Aller is an old arm of the Aller. Here a great hiking trail leads through the beautiful nature. A visit to the Cluvenhagener See and the Etelsen Castle Park is recommended.
