The statues at the Grote Napoleonmolen in Hamme were created by the Belgian artist Roland Rens. The artwork is called “De Wind”. Roland Rens created this sculpture as a tribute to the wind, a fitting theme given the location at the historic mill. The Grote Napoleonmolen itself is a protected monument and, together with the artwork, forms a beautiful interplay between heritage and art in the Hamme landscape.
