Hiking
Borken station was put into operation in 1880 and is a former junction station on the Winterswijk - Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck line, the Empel-Rees - Münster line and the Northern Railway of the Westphalian State Railway. Since 1996 it has been the terminus of the only section of the line still in operation, Borken - Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck.
