Fritz Willingshofer was born on his grandfather's farm, known as "Petschnhofer", and at the tender age of one he moved to his parents' farm, the "Unterer Pöllabauern". Even as a schoolchild he went to his grandfather almost every day to help him with his work on the farm. It was then that his grandfather decided to hand the farm over to his grandson.
