Road cycling
The church was founded in the 4th century on the tomb of Saint Denis, the first Bishop of Paris. It was rebuilt in the 12th century in the Gothic style, under the leadership of Abbot Suger.
The church has been restored several times over the centuries. The last restoration was completed in 1992.
