You get to Bansko along the ski slope. A wide path with little shade on gravel that seems to go on forever because of its dullness.
We descended from the Vihren hut this way. In retrospect, I would take the bus that goes directly to the town from there. It cost 12 BGN in September 2024 and runs (if I remember correctly) 4 times an afternoon.
