Hiking
At first glance, the perfect route.
But it turns out to be extremely mountainous and rocky with undergrowth and aggressive mosquitoes. The bathing lake was all the more inviting. But I was out without any bathing equipment.
After that, a rocky single trail uphill and through the vineyards of Chianti back to Gaiole.
A wonderful refreshment in the market square, honestly deserved!
