Fort Walsh is a national historic site in southwestern Saskatchewan. It offers visitors a glimpse into the history of western Canada in the 1870s, when the Northwestern Mounted Police ruled the region. Here you can experience Canadian history in an open-air museum of sorts, with guided tours and workshops available.
