I have only really seen one photo of the Ponte della Paglia, they all refer to the Ponte dei Sospiri that connects the Ducal Palace with the dungeons famous for the sighs of the inmates who crossed it on the way to the Doge's Palace prison.

The Bridge of Sighs is one of the most famous bridges in Venice. Located a short distance from St. Mark's Square, it connects the Doge's Palace of Venice with the former prison of the Inquisition, crossing the Rio Di Palazzo.
