It was built around 1500 and has been preserved in its original late Gothic style.
The 4 winged pictures, predella, shrine figures and shrine guardian figures on the north wall of the church come from the original Gothic furnishings (winged altar).
The figures of John the Evangelist and John the Baptist, as well as St. George and St. Florian are dated around 1490.
The high altar (Renaissance, 1618) came from Petting to Fridolfing - St. Johann in 1695. The pulpit, made by Hans Fr. Holler from Tittmoning (late Renaissance), also dates from this period, 1691.
