The Jägersteig is part of the upper circuit through the Altfasstal. Coming from the valley entrance (hiking car park), you first head towards the Moserhütte, then keep straight on when it turns right. The path is very original and quite narrow. As soon as you reach the alpine meadow, you have to decide whether you want to descend towards the Wieserhütte and Pranter Stadt Hütte (Altfasstal circuit) or go higher up towards the Falzer Joch, Fallmetzer or Gitsch.
