The grave is in the forest next to the town of Piaski near Zduńska Wola. This is the burial place of 20 local residents murdered by the Nazis on September 17, 1941 in Wola Marzeńska and at the stadium in Sieradz. In retaliation for setting fire to grain stacks on farms occupied by the Nazis. The executioners wanted to hide the burial place of the shot people.
