Hiking

Bolderwood is one of the best places for deer spotting in the New Forest thanks to a purpose-built platform overlooking a meadow. It’s also home to some of the national park’s oldest Douglas fir trees, some more than 160 years old. With a free (donations welcomed) car park, plenty of paths and enchanting scenery, it’s a place the whole family can enjoy.

Nice easy section with the occasional deer or horse to be seen. Ground can get quite boggy during rainy times, but that's why wellies were made. for jumping in the bogs!!!

I'm 7 months since having a knee replacement and found this a perfect couple mile walk. And saw some deer too.
