Profitis Elias Church is one of those many unique churches that are popular with locals and tourists alike. Located in the Famagusta/Protaras area, just about 6km from Paralimni, it is a Greek Orthodox church. It stands on a hilltop overlooking the town and the sea. It was built in 1984 on the site of an older chapel, using locally found stones to blend in with the surroundings and complement the natural surroundings.
