The Bismarck Column was closed for a long time, but now it is accessible again. The restoration was successful and apparently quite true to the original. Only the pillar of fire at the top is missing. The view - fantastic! It extends as far as Lübeck.

Pariner Berg is a 72-meter-high hill in Groß Parin, Schleswig-Holstein. The Bismarck Column stands atop it.
Pariner Berg is a typical glacial moraine of the Baltic Ridge, characteristic of the Schleswig-Holstein hill country. It forms the northern boundary of the Lübeck Basin and the eastern boundary of the Schwartau glacial valley.
Due to its exposed location, Pariner Berg was the site of a windmill, which later housed a forced labor camp during World War II.
The last remaining building is now used as a residence.
