Mountain biking

The Meister-Eckhart-Rastplatz is a small, idyllic resting place directly on the Rennsteig in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park. It is located in the vicinity of Tambach-Dietharz and Oberschönau at a distinctive forest crossroads. The place is named after the famous late medieval theologian, philosopher, and mystic Meister Eckhart (Eckhart von Hochheim), who was born in this region around 1260.
