Hiking

The most famous resident of Klingberg was Paul Zimmermann. He originally came from Saxony and was a teacher. He was a staunch vegetarian and liked to swim naked in lakes. At the age of 22 he quit his job and moved across the country. Here in Klingberg he eventually bought a farm and converted it into accommodation and later a restaurant. The highlight: it served exclusively vegetarian food and guests were allowed to walk around naked in the adjacent park. Paul Zimmermann is considered a pioneer of the nudist movement.
