This shelter, opened in 1953, is located on Polana Chochołowska at an altitude of 1146m. You can eat here and stay overnight (smoking is not allowed). It is a great base for trips to the Western Tatras.

The Chochołowska Hut (Polish: Schronisko PTTK na Polanie Chochołowskiej) is located at an elevation of 1,146 meters in Poland, in the Western Tatras, in the Chochołowska Valley on the Chochołowska Mountain Pasture. With 121 beds, the hut is the largest mountain hut in the Polish Tatras. The area belongs to the municipality of Kościelisko.
