In 1947, when the former ammunition bunker in the Sehlen forest was blown up, the stained glass windows were destroyed. They were repaired in 1948.
From 1976, the church was no longer used, only in 1991, a service was held again. In the years 1993/1994 extensive repairs were carried out and built a community room. In 1999 the organ was renovated. In 2002, the church received two new Bachert bells.
