The drainage ditch in the Geeste Forest connects the Ems River and the Dortmund-Ems Canal. The clear water flows calmly through the forest.

Hiking
The 'Fischteichableiter' stream, which winds deep into the landscape and through the forest, is worth seeing. The water is clear and the depth is rather shallow. There are fishing ponds nearby. Whether the stream has anything to do with it is unknown.
