The bunkers on the Danish North Sea coast.
The Atlantic Wall in Denmark was a coastal defense system along the North Sea coast of Jutland during World War II. It consisted of approx. 8,000 different concrete structures, about 2,000 of which were bunkers.
In some places, the bunkers have been removed or covered up
or sand drifts have blurred the traces.
However, most of them are still here as they were at the end of the war, serving as cautionary witnesses and reminders of a terrible time.
Nowadays, children and adults alike enjoy climbing around on them.
