The futuristic building "The Blob" stands on 18 September Square. This building stands out from its traditional surroundings. The Blob was designed by an Italian architect named Massimiliano Fuksas, and its name also means "Binary Large Object." In the computer world, it's a web of data, and in architecture, it's a peculiar building that can take on all sorts of whimsical shapes. This ultramodern building forms the entrance to a shopping center called the Admirant. The Blob also houses a lunchroom where you can enjoy the view of 18 September Square and, on the other side, the Philips lighthouse.

What a strange building. But hey, Eindhoven is the craziest, so it fits here.
