Peter Brandes' monumental bronze sculpture stands at the entrance to Ballerup Town Hall. Telemachos stands on a granite foundation and is twelve meters long, eight meters wide and six meters high. The sculpture was cast in the Italian marble and bronze town of Pietrasanta and is probably Denmark's largest bronze sculpture. The dream and sufferings of Odysseus' son Telemachos at the loss of his father. He is tied behind and calls out his distress.
