While most surfaces are well-paved, some sections beyond Park Road 1C might be unpaved, so prepare accordingly. The 12-mile stretch of Park Road 1C has a 30 miles per hour speed limit, meaning you will share the road with vehicles. Remember that state park entrance fees or permits may be required for access.

    This loop offers a unique opportunity to witness nature's resilience, as you cycle through areas recovering from past wildfires. The Lost Pines forest is an isolated pine forest in Central Texas, making this route a distinctive experience.
