There is a stumbling block here that the artist Gunter Demnig set into the pavement in front of this (current) company building on October 23, 2023.
According to the Talmud saying "A person is only forgotten when his name is forgotten," Gunter Demnig places small works of art in the ground in front of houses. Concrete monuments on which a text embossed on a brass plaque commemorates a victim of the Nazi era. Since 1992, over 100,000 stumbling blocks have been laid across Europe.
This stumbling block is for Sigman Pitljak, a Soviet forced laborer who lived at this address.
