A late Gothic castle ruin in the middle of the village of Hof am Leithagebirge.
It was built in the 13th century and was taken over by the Habsburgs in the 18th century. It was abandoned after the Napoleonic Wars and is now privately owned.

Mountain biking

From 1590 onwards, the complex is repeatedly referred to as Spitzhof or Thurnhof. Christoph Aichinger appears as the owner. It may have been he who undertook the expansion of the farm into a defensive complex. In 1635, the fortified residence was owned by the sovereign and subordinate to the Vizedom in Vienna. It was mostly awarded to deserving officers of the border troops, such as Georg Radimilowitsch in 1642 and Johann Gussenitsch in 1650. The Counts Cavriani followed in 1658.
