The garrison pharmacy was built in 1698 by the master builder Dominicus Pelli (1657 - 1728) as a two-storey eaves house with a hipped roof and ashlar pilaster strips. The building was later widened to the west and plastered in the 19th century and modified with a cast-iron balcony in a late classical style.

The pharmacy offers canal water. 😋 A note with the following inscription hangs on the bottle neck:
Do you hate a booze for digestion after a good meal?
Actually no, because after eating, a digestive schnapps is quickly introduced into the liver, and the alcohol stimulates the formation of bile
Fat digestion increases. The bile flows through the bile ducts
to the duodenum and splits the
Nutritional fats. A schnapps after eating is a useful aid for better digestion of the edible fats.
Please also note:
Occasionally uses a glass of gastric liqueur, constantly drunk alcohol is harmful. 😉
