It is impossible to summarize the beauty of Syracuse and its island of Ortigia in a few lines. It is a small piece of land measuring just one square kilometer that emerges on the Ionian Sea, a small Sicilian pearl that deserves to be explored.
Absolutely not to be missed: the cathedral of Syracuse, the Maniace castle, the Aretusa spring, but also a walk through the streets of the center of the island, fascinating alleys in which to get lost and fall in love.
