Through moderate development, the area is to be further opened up for walkers who are looking for peace and relaxation. Many Karlsruhe residents have already fought for lots of trees and natural greenery in the Beiertheimer Feld between the high-rise buildings of the city and the Alb. So far: successful!
It still remains to be seen how much of this cultural landscape can be preserved and what the future development plans will bring.
