Bunker which testifies to the existence of the Genghis Khan line, built by the Nazis between 1943 and 1944 to defend Italian soil from the advance of Allied soldiers.
The Mesola bunkers were actually never made operational as the Allied advance was too fast to allow the Germans to put up any real resistance in these places.
