Very beautiful small lighthouse with an unusual shape surrounded by columns. It was built in 1953 - the model was the lighthouse from 1829 that was destroyed by an earthquake - and has been recently restored. Ideal for a photo shoot.

The Agios Theodoros Lighthouse (also known as Fanari Lighthouse) is a well-known landmark on the island. The white lighthouse is characterized by its unusual round shape, surrounded by 20 columns in the Doric style.

It was originally built in 1829 during the British rule. Like almost all buildings in Argostoli and on the whole of Kefalonia, this lighthouse was also destroyed in the severe earthquake in August 1953.
