Hiking
The section of the Alster from Ohlsdorf to the confluence with the Outer Alster, including here in Eppendorf, is called Streek (Low German for area) or Alsterstreek. The course is artificially straightened in this section of the river. The beautiful villas of wealthy Hamburg residents, whose properties extend all the way down to the river bank, are a defining feature. According to statistics, the average income of around 25,000 Eppendorf residents is around one and a half times that of other Hamburg residents.

Really nice and certainly recommendable to stroll along one of the Alster rivers. Also watching those nice villas with their well maintained gardens 😀
