The farmer Karl Beer from Denkenreuth No. 1 (house name Winterpeter) built the chapel in the village in 1947/48. The reason for this was a vow he made during the war because of a serious illness. Originally it was just supposed to be a small chapel in your own garden on the side of the road. But when the villagers found out about it, they asked the builder to put it in the center of the village and make it a little bigger. In this way it became 10 m long and offers seating for around 40 people.
