The old railway bridges are in good shape and also the nearby old train station in Eltze is very well preserved (privately owned). He still wears the old place name "Eltze Kr.Peine". Today Eltze belongs to the municipality Uetze and the region Hannover. The railway line is crossed again and again between Uetze - and by bike, on foot or even by canoe on the river Fuhse.
